Yoga Broadbeach. Maya has been a dedicated yogini for well over a decade. Her wealth of yoga wisdom and experience will help you expand your self awareness by guiding you through your yoga practice.
The ancient practice of yoga brings about inner strength by uniting the body with the mind to achieve a heightened state of mental awareness. Through the practice of physical postures, meditation and breath regulation, Maya will help you calm your mind, and create better energetic flow.

As an expert in her modalities on the Gold Coast, Naturopathic Nutritionist (BHSc Nutritional Medicine), certified natural medicine practitioner (member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society since 2007), Fitness Professional Yogini and popular Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Maya combines eastern and western philosophies, with the aim to educate, support, and empower her patients to make their personal health a priority.
“Once we heal the body, the mind will follow” – Maya’s simple moto recognises the necessity of nurturing and nourishing the body to create a pain – free and disease – free state in order to begin achieving internal calmness leading to a more peaceful existence.
Yoga is an extensive practice which goes well beyond the physical poses that was created in India over 5,000 years ago. Yoga wisdom has inspired many other philosophies including Buddhism and other Chinese disciplines.
Yoga was created to help people to let go “Pranidhanat”. Firstly, we learn how to let go of tension in the body through the physical discipline. Later we let go of our thoughts, plans and emotions. By continuing this practice, we begin to see the truth (“Satya”) in every moment, rather than see life the way we perceive it (“Maya” – meaning our perception is often an illusion)
Corporate events and corporate yoga around Broadbeach, Miami and Burleigh.
Corporate events around Broadbeach and Burleigh are starting to feel a little different these days. Teams want something that actually helps them switch off for a moment, not another forced activity on the calendar. That’s where Maya Wellness fits in. The sessions give people space to breathe, move, and settle, which oddly enough makes them work better together. It’s pretty straightforward and down-to-earth, more like taking a breather together than running some big organised event.
Corporate yoga’s gaining traction simply because people can jump in without feeling out of their depth—even if someone’s never rolled out a mat in their life. Maya pays attention to how everyone’s feeling and shifts the pace so the whole group settles in comfortably. No pressure, nothing weird, just something that actually feels doable. She brings everything to the workplace from Broadbeach through to Burleigh, blending gentle movement with a bit of breathwork to take the edge off the day. It’s a small thing businesses are finding actually shifts the mood in the office, in a good way.
